String Quartet
The
String Quartet began as part of the San Carlo Theatre
Orchestra. It has partecipated in the Linz International
Festival of Austria, the J. Brahms Festival of Ischia,
and has also performed in the
Rossini Theatre of Pesaro, the Manzoni of Milan, Sala
Dei Giganti of Padua, the Opera Theatre of
Rome, in Nice, Montecarlo etc.
It recorded Haydn's "Le ultime sette parole di Cristo
sulla Croce", which was well received by the critics,
Montuosi's "Four Vibrations" for Penthafon and
Fenaroli's "Stabat Mater" for Nuova Era, which
was its first world wideperformance. In the last recording,
unpublished interpretations of great neapolitan composers
such as G. Martucci, A. Longo and M. Pilati.
Marianna
Muresanu - violin
Graduated from the Conservatory C. Porumbescu of Bucharest,
she won the George Enescu scholarship for best Romanian
violinist. First Violin in the Chamber Orchestra of Bucharest
Radio, the Scarlatti Orchestra of Naples, the Local Orchestra
of Lazio and the San Carlo Theatre of Naples. She Plays
a Goffredo Cappa violin of '700
Giuseppe
Navelli - violin
Graduated in violin and viola from the Conservatory "L.D'Annunzio"
of Pescara. He was part of the Chamber Orchestra "Solisti
Aquilani" and later of the San Carlo Theatre of Naples.
Antonio
Bossone - viola
Graduated from the Conservatory "Santa Cecilia"
in Rome, he has received the "Maisterklasse"
and the "Solisten Diplom" from the Musikhochschule
of Wuerzburg (Germany). First Viola in the Local Orchestra
of Lazio, the Bellini Theatre of Catania,the RAI National
Orchestra of Turin, the Santa Cecilia National Orchestra
of Rome and the San Carlo Theatre of Naples.
Ilie
Ioneschu - violoncello
Graduated from the Conservatory C. Porumbescu of Bucharest.
First Violoncello at the La Scala Theatre of Milan, the
Petruzzelli of Bari and the San Carlo Theatre of Naples.
